How much do sessions cost?

Initial evaluations are $200 and last 60 minutes. During the initial evaluation, we will discuss your current concerns and additional information about your mental and physical health history will be gathered. This information will be used to collaboratively determine the best course of action.

The cost of a 60-minute session is $200 and the cost of a 90-minute session is $260. Payment is accepted in the form of cash, check, or credit card. Please note that there will be a $4.00 fee if a debit/credit card is used for payment.

Please contact us if finances are a concern. We believe that finances should not get in the way of receiving quality treatment. A limited number of reduced-fee appointment slots are reserved, although this availability cannot be guaranteed.

Do you take insurance?

The CS&HA currently accepts Lyra, Tricare, Medicare and Cigna. We do accept most major PPO health insurance policies to facilitate your treatment and minimize your out-of-pocket costs.

If you have a PPO insurance plan, we would be considered an out-of-network provider. If you are interested in using your PPO insurance, we recommend you call them and ask about their policy on out-of-network behavioral health care services.

More specifically, you will want to ask:

  • Do I have behavioral health benefits?

  • What is the amount of my deductible and has it been met?

  • What percentage of behavioral health services will they reimburse per therapy session?

  • How many sessions per calendar year does my insurance plan cover?

  • Does my insurance plan cover tele-therapy services (if doing therapy online)?

How long will treatment last?

Many factors determine how long you will be in treatment including your current concerns and your commitment to therapy. We will work together in session to target your concerns and help you develop and improve the skills necessary to improve your life outside of session. Additionally, your participation (e.g., regular attendance, practicing skills outside of session) will impact how long you’re in treatment.

It is difficult to provide an exact time frame without knowing your concerns or goals for treatment. However, depending on these various factors, some clients can benefit from short-term therapy (6-15 sessions) while other clients may be better suited for longer term therapy.

The approach at the CS&HA is to collaborate with our clients so they can quickly feel relief and make steps toward living a healthier and more meaningful life. After the initial appointment, your provider will be better able to describe the course of therapy and provide an estimate for the length of treatment to address your specific goals.

Do you treat families, couples, or children?

At this time, we do not treat families, couples, or children. The CS&HA currently only works with adults aged 18 and older.
