Counseling Services
Individual therapy usually occurs every week for 50 minutes per session. During your initial intake appointment, we will discuss your current concerns and work together to develop goals for therapy. Throughout the course of your treatment, we will spend our time helping you make progress on your goals using therapy techniques that have shown to be effective through research.
The length of treatment will vary for each individual client depending on your presenting concerns, goals, and commitment to therapy. We will be able to give you an estimated timeline for treatment after the initial appointment. Some clients may choose to continue with treatment to focus on additional areas they would like to improve in their lives or may return for “booster sessions” to review their skills learned in therapy.
The CS&HA focuses on tailoring sessions to each client to ensure their concerns are addressed and they can develop and enhance the skills necessary to use outside of therapy and in their daily lives.

Concierge Services
We provide concierge services to allow more flexibility in scheduling. Sessions can be held in your home, office or other private location for increased flexibility, privacy, and personalized care. If your schedule prevents you from seeking out counseling services in a traditional therapy office, our concierge services may better meet your needs. This can also include consultation or check-ins by phone, text, email, or video as needed.
We will work together to determine how concierge services will look for you. Many of our concierge clients request this service because they prefer the flexibility and convenience of not having to come to the office and being able to work in their preferred space.
Some common topics addressed through our concierge services include:
Learning awareness and accountability of behavior (e.g., self-monitoring with improving diet)
Enhancing motivation and commitment for making lifestyle changes (e.g., managing stress, increasing physical activity, improving relationships)
Conducting exposure exercises in natural setting to reduce anxiety
Practicing mindfulness meditation exercises in various settings using your senses
Consulting Services
Dr. Champassak provides Motivational Interviewing consultation and workshops for those interested in improving their communication with others.
